CINDERELLA IN SPAIN is a delightful bi-lingual light opera composed by Mary Carol Warwick, lyrics by Kate Pogue, and orchestrated and directed by Mark Andersen. This setting of Cinderella is for children and adults alike, and includes a wonderful bi-lingual interpretation of the original fairy tale. It is brought to life by five actor/singers, accompanied by an orchestral ensemble. Directed by Mark Andersen, a noted recording and concert artist, who recently returned home to Lumberton after a successful career in New York, Boston, Paris, and Seattle.

The cast members for this production are Janiel Miller, Laura Morgan, Danny Oakden, Joshua Conyers, and Melvin Ezzell. Costumes designed by Jayme Varnadore, sets and properties by Jacob Barton and Lynn Andersen. This production was presented by Robeson County Arts Council at the Carolina Civic Center Historic Theater on May 14, 2016.

Also featured that night was music by Solo English Handbell artist Lynn Andersen with Mark Andersen at the piano. That performance also included on this DVD.
